Hi Shivaas, thanks for the compliment! You guys did a truly great job and it was evident from the start, so thanks very much.

As for Chase, I think the main reason for being disappointed was as a regular follower of him on my own, I was expecting a bit of interaction with him that didn't occur. That's OK though, I'll live and am still a fan.

Awesome pics Eric. Its heartening to hear that you liked the event. I was part of the organizing team and it feels great to see our efforts pay off.

Btw, the people you saw clicking away with their DSLR's and such were probably our photographers. You should have gotten your dslr for the break though :)

Also, Chase Jarvis wasn't available during the lunch/tea break as he had gone back to his hotel for some urgent business. You mentioned correctly that he had not slept much in the last 3 days, but his talk was nonetheless quite interesting.

The brand new Dodge Charger is really cool! It incorporates some of the nicest styling cues of the original, and tosses in some modern edginess as well. Looks-wise, it is absolutely jaw dropping.

You're probably right; bugs are definitely not my specialty. Actually, I saw an interesting fly today as well, but couldn't get to a camera fast enough to snap it. Looked like a big black housefly, but the wings were oversized and mottled black and clear. Pretty cool, first time I've ever saw one of those.

Nice pics, Eric. Your second photo looks more like a damsel fly to me, rather than a dragonfly though. See how the abdomen is long & thin, compared to the previous insect?
