Next batch of World Of Wheels photos have been posted for your enjoyment, the gallery is here. Today’s highlights are of some classic rail cars on disply from Garlits, Prudhomme, and Kalitta. Very cool, but very scary too. Take a look at the cockpit shot posted below. Notice that the diff case is sitting right under the driver’s legs? Um, yeah. Safety. Right. All that power sitting right under your thighs and directly in front of the jewels, and with no shielding. Makes you wonder how they ever got into the cockpit to drive considering the size of the balls required to straddle all that horsepower with every run. Very impressive to say the least.
