Just finished packing up to take Santa Claus pictures tomorrow for the city. It should be a good time, and hopefully a lot of people will come for the pictures. It’s the first year for New Castle to have Santa Claus come for a visit, which I think is a great thing as it gives the city’s residents an opportunity to enjoy Santa in town without having to drive to a mall or elsewhere. New Castle needs more reasons for people to stay here for entertainment I think, and it also shows that the city cares enough to put some effort into making New Castle a place people will want to live in and be proud of.
Of course, I’m still nervous that we may get swamped with waaaay more people than anticipated, but that’s a good thing, ne? Here’s looking to a successful day!
BTW, if you live in or nearby New Castle, PA, come on out for some pics and the Cascade of Lights display. Times for Santa are tomorrow, 12/13, from 4-6p, and again at the same time, 12/20, too. Location is in the Cascade Park maintenance building (where it’s warm!). Hope to see you there!
